San Fran... the city where we fell in love!

Frank had some business meetings so Rowan and I tagged along to check out SF.  We stayed with Cec & Allan & their boys, Cash & Graham.  It was a wonderful 3 days in our old home town!

Cash & Graham were so sweet!  They shared everything with Rowan including their blankies, yellow bus toys, books, Tonka truck & here Cash is feeding Rowan one of his gold fish!

Seattle

Rowan, FRank, my Mom & I went to Seattle for a TMP board meeting.  Here are a few pics.

Frank & Rowan on the UW campus... what a gorgeous day it was!

On the way to the yacht club... ha, just kidding... on the way to dinner with the Browns & Northcotts.  We love his sweater vest from Cash & Graham.

"A kiss from Mom before she went to the performance while I stayed back with Grammie!"

Jumperoo...

Rowan loves sitting & standing (with Mom & Dads help), so we put together the jumperoo!  He LOVES it!  Unfortunately, for the first week he needed a cook book to be tall enough to jump.

Solids!

Rowan started eating his veggies!  Here are some funny pics from his first mission with carrots.

Hmmm looks interesting!

What have you just put into my mouth?

Ughhh, gag!!!!

Well not so bad, fun to play with anyway!

Wickenburg, AZ-- Dude Ranch Fun!

We went to Wickenburg for a family reunion in February.  Rowan had a great time hanging with the horses, going on hay rides & of course meeting the entire Fife clan.

We aren't in Idaho anymore!

Maybe Wickenburg isn't all that different from Idaho, afterall!

Cute pics from the past few months

I've been a little behind the 8 ball on my blog updates, so here are some pics...

Happy New Year

We decided to "play house" at my parent's house since they were out of town.  It was a wonderful way to bring in the new year with our new family of 4, Maya included of course.

Party Guys!

I insisted on getting a picture of the 4 of us on our first new year.  This was no small feat as Rowan was past his bed time & Maya had other higher priorities.

Moggys came up for New Years Day, we kept calling this their man date, they were like 2 little old men conversing over coffee, they were too cute!

Alice joining in on the man date.

Rowan loves Aunty Laura!

Maya waiting patiently for Kyle to drop a puff.

Road Tripin' Rowan

After Christmas we headed to Sun Valley for some skiing & my Dad's best friend's retirement party.  Here are some pics from Rowan's first road trip!

Changing the dipe on the road!  My justification was that our car is cleaner than the Gear Jammer's bathroom.  All in all it was a successful change as you can see.

We took a little walk from Elkhorn into town, it was chilly, but a gorgeous day!

I'm showing Rowan where he will be skiing next year.

A pic in front of the Sun Valley barn to mark Rowan's first trip to SV!

Breastfeeding at Grumpys.  Boy have times changed!  It wasn't too long ago I was sitting at that very booth drinking scooners of beer with my girlfriends the summer I lived in Ketchum (OK, it was 1996, but it doesn't seem that long ago).

Brian showing Rowan what a scooner of beer is... oh and if you look closely that is Woody Harrelson in the background reading the paper.

Rowan and yet another girlfriend of his, Elizabeth Northcott.  She is his distance girlfriend as she lives in Seattle, but she is a cutie.

Patrick Northcott admiring his buddy.  Before we arrived at the party Patrick was so excited that there would be another boy there so he gathered his legos because he wanted Rowan to play legos with him.  His Mom & Grandma had to explain that Rowan is a little young for legos, maybe next year?!
